GymBF does not have user accounts, does not run servers that store your information, and does not contain advertising or analytics. Your training, body and nutrition data is stored on your device and stays there.
Everything you log — workouts, sets, personal records, body measurements, food entries and your profile — is written to a database file inside the app's private storage on your own device. It is not uploaded anywhere. We have no ability to read it, because it never reaches us.
If you turn on Health sync, GymBF exchanges data with Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). Both are on-device stores managed by the operating system, not services run by us. Nothing is sent over the internet.

Health sync is off unless you enable it, and each direction is a separate permission you grant yourself. You can revoke either at any time in the Health app or Health Connect settings; GymBF keeps working without it.
Health data obtained through Apple Health or Health Connect is never used for advertising, marketing, or any use-based data mining, and is never sold or shared with third parties or service providers.
The camera is used only to read a barcode while the scanner is open. Images are processed on the device, are not saved, and are not transmitted.
When you scan a product that is not already stored on your device, GymBF sends the barcode number — and nothing else — to Open Food Facts, a free public food database, to look up its name and nutrition values. No information about you, your device or your health accompanies that request. The result is saved on your device so the same product never needs looking up twice. This is the only situation in which GymBF contacts the internet. Open Food Facts has its own privacy policy.
GymBF can optionally be pointed at a shared food catalog server, configured under Profile. It is switched off unless a server address is entered. When it is in use, GymBF sends a barcode to look it up, and nothing else — no information about you, your device or your health.
Rest-timer alerts are scheduled locally by your device. There is no push server and no message is sent over a network.
The export feature writes your data to a file and hands it to your device's share sheet. Where that file goes — email, cloud storage, another app — is entirely your choice, and from that point it is governed by whichever service you sent it to. GymBF does not upload backups anywhere on its own.
Nothing. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no tracking, and no third-party code that collects information about you.
Deleting the app removes its database and everything in it. Data previously written to Apple Health or Health Connect belongs to those stores and is managed there. Because nothing is held on our side, there is nothing for us to delete on request.
GymBF is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.
GymBF provides general fitness and nutrition information. It is not medical advice and cannot diagnose or treat any condition. Consult a doctor before starting a new training or nutrition programme.
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Material changes affecting how data is handled will be surfaced in the app.

מחיקת האפליקציה מוחקת את מסד הנתונים שלה ואת כל תוכנו. נתונים שנכתבו קודם לכן אל Apple Health או Health Connect שייכים למאגרים האלה ומנוהלים דרכם. מכיוון ששום מידע אינו נשמר אצלנו, אין לנו מה למחוק לבקשתך.
GymBF אינה מיועדת לילדים ואינה מיועדת לשימוש מתחת לגיל 16.
